“Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know.”

I nearly began jumping up and down as I read it because I have never seen a more perfect description of the entire weight loss/weight gain experience. 

So many people spend 10, 20, 30, even 40 years of their life or more attempting to lose weight by distracting themselves from what they really need to learn from their own body.

And let me tell you, as soon as you let go of needing to lose weight so desperately in order to fit in, be loved, receive love and acceptance… you get to let go of all extreme dieting methods as well.

Now the real weight loss journey begins… what is your weight here to teach you so that you can truly let it go for good?

What if instead of focusing on losing weight you focused on owning it? You can’t lose what you don’t already own right?

I am going to be very blunt with you… you will not lose the weight for good and truly become someone who never diets again unless…

you learn about your body and weight…

and your relationship with food, exercise and your body first.

Then it truly can release for good. And not just the physical weight either. You will officially lose the entire identity of being someone who is “dealing with weight” forever.
